Atul, an emerging artist blending the rich heritage of Indian classical music with modern Western pop, has carved a unique sonic identity. His journey began in the small villages of India, where local folk rhythms and classical Indian melodies deeply influenced his musical foundation. Vocally inspired by legends like Sonu Nigam and Lucky Ali, Atul weaves these traditional influences into the pop genre, creating music that feels both familiar and refreshingly different.
Atul’s musical evolution is striking. From his early days performing Bollywood covers with his first band, Raga, to experimenting with English songs in AvantGarde, his sound has grown into a vibrant fusion of his life experiences. Now based in Los Angeles, his songs channel the emotions of modern pop, shaped by his personal story—struggles, triumphs, love, and even the grind of life.
His debut album Emotions (2015) showcased his ability to blend heartfelt lyrics with dynamic melodies, earning him recognition with standout tracks like Happily Ever After and Good Meal, which even topped some radio charts. Yet, Atul isn’t stopping there. He envisions himself performing on iconic stages like Madison Square Garden, dreaming of collaborations with artists such as Coldplay, Dua Lipa, and Bruno Mars.
Atul’s upcoming album is set to redefine his artistic identity. Featuring tracks like Fading Lights, Red, and Always Been You, the album explores a broad spectrum of emotions, from love to loneliness, from the party scene to the daily grind. His goal is ambitious—he’s aiming for a top 10 Billboard hit and a No. 1 album, and his reinvention is ready to propel him there.
